Nostalgia. Many a year I spent my childhood on that hill. Think, if I remember rightly it was called Tornado Hill. Used to watch buccaneers, jaguars, tornadoes, hawks, harriers go over derwentwater with my old man.

Thank you for uploading this wonderful tribute to a most deserving man. A brief anecdote to tell you about the warmth and humanity of Jack Jones: In 2009 I traveled from the San Francisco Bay Area to see Jack perform at the Oak Room in the Algonquin Hotel in NYC. I believe it was his last performance there because it closed shortly thereafter. Jack gave a sensational performance. As we left the Oak Room which exited into the hotel lobby, I was happily surprised to see Jack standing there with his wife greeting and chatting with his fans as they left the room. As a life-time concert-goer, I can assure you that it was a first in my experience. Jack is not only the greatest pop vocalist of his era, but a very kind man who cares about his fellow man. I am glad to see the many accolades that he is now receiving.

Saw Jack in Glasgow on his 80th birthday tour..Fabulous. I sang The Loveboat in a pub last week...Not so Fabulous. :}
